The Dance Level 3 and Projects grant panel meeting was held via teleconference on August 27, 2015. Nine (9) eligible applications were reviewed and all were recommended for funding.

Josephine Garibaldi

Leon County

  • Chair, School of Dance, Florida State University; Artistic Director, Callous Physical Theatre
  • An interdisciplinary performing artist, educator and administrator dedicated to fostering collaborative art-making across communities, disciplines and cultures regionally, nationally and internationally through a dialogic practice of art-making and pedagogy.
  • Collaboratively devised over 20 original performance, installation and digital works.
  • Founding member of award winning Barefoot Studios and the Barefoot Collective; producer/director of site-specific performance festivals SiteWorks: Dance on Tour; SiteWorks 2006, SiteWorks 2009, Train and Big Dance/Little Space; education director for all-ages interdisciplinary arts programs; chair of a municipal arts council; and past director of dance at Idaho State University.
