Multidisciplinary Level 3 Panel, Meeting Report and Recommendations

The Multidisciplinary Level 3 grant panel meeting was held via teleconference on August 28, 2015. Twenty-six (26) eligible applications were reviewed and all were recommended for funding.

A complete list of all reviewed applications, with the request amounts and final scores, is provided in the following sections.

One individual suggested that the Division clarify the definition of multidisciplinary organizations so that presenting organizations have a better understanding of the appropriate category.

Karen Climer

Orange County

  • Independent grant writer: Central Florida Veterans Memorial Park Foundation, Orlando Ballet, Orlando Philharmonic, and Primrose Center, Orlando, Florida
  • Named one of the top three up-and-coming fundraisers in the country by FundRaising Success Magazine.  She received the Walt Chamberlain Scholar Award from the Central Florida Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and has been featured in the “Someone You Should Know” column of Central Florida Lifestyle.  She is published in FundRaising Success and Advancing Philanthropy.
